Last year (2012), I took over the post of Rallymaster for the Brit Butt Light 12-hour motorcycle photo rally / treasure hunt.
Prior to that it had been excellently run for the previous 3 years by Robert Roalfe (GrimRider).
The Brit Butt Light 4 Rally was entitled "Lost Boys & Rude Girls", and entailed visiting a number of places with names that either sounded rude, or had a link (however tenuous) with something "lost".
Examples of some of the places that riders went to include:
The Polished Knob, Todmorden; the Titanic Brewery; Undy (and Pant); Teesaurus Park; Minges Farmhouse; and Cockfosters.
The 2013 Brit Butt Light will take place on Saturday 20th July, 2013, starting at 8.00am "somewhere in Stoke-on-Trent". Its title - The Don Quixote Tour!
The Rally entry fee will be £20 for riders, and £30 for rider and pillion - this covers a meal and the presentation, and any surplus will be split equally between the County Air Ambulance and Animal Lifeline - both very worthwhile causes.
