This was a tour for our students studying robotics.

Lovely snowy day in Oxfordshire

The remote operation room. Monitors show a view from the robot arm and a virtual representation of its position.

The arm is controlled using a teleoperated slave system, this can feed back the mass the robot handles to the operator (i.e. if the robot picks a 1kg mass, the operator will feel this)
